Well Melanie hit the 2 month mark this week, I can't believe how fast it is going! She had a dr appointment today and she weighed in at 12 pounds and was 23 1/2 inches, she is in the 75 percentile for her age which means she is bigger and taller than 75% of babies her age. Dr says she looks fantastic and is doing really well :) She did have to get a few vaccinations though :( I've definitely never heard her cry like that before, but she calmed down very quickly and is in a relatively pleasant mood today. She's a brave girl!
Melanie is also a very strong and very clever little girl. She has been holding her head up and trying to push off with her legs for over a month now and has been laughing and having "conversations" with us and recently started imitating us when we stick our tongues out or make faces at her. All milestones for a 3-6 month old so she is ahead of the game!!
