Happy New Year! We were blessed in SO MANY ways last year and are very sad to see 2011 go. We hope that 2012 is just as good to us and to all of you as well. The holidays were CRAZY but amazing and now we are just relaxing before getting back into the groove of things. Gaz was able to take some time off during the holidays to spend time with his brothers while they were here and for us to be able to fully enjoy Melanie's first Christmas. We decorated the house/ tree, saw and got pictures taken with Santa, made a penguin at build-a-bear, did some Christmas shopping, baked cookies, spent time with family and Melanie attended her first Christmas mass. We managed to make it through December without much snow at all, which is pretty much unheard of in Cleveland, but are in the middle of what they are saying is going to be a pretty decent snow storm. Tomorrow is back to work for Gaz, and Melanie and I both have Dr appointments this week. I am going back to get bloodwork done and make sure the diabetes went away when Melanie was born. Melanie has her 2 month check-up and will be getting some vaccinations :( but I am excited to see how much she has grown. She is getting to be so big and strong already!
